A flower necklace is received by the visitor upon is arrival at Easter Island,world famous for its moais, giant sculptures etched on stones. The history of this island is joined to myths and legends like the ceremonial city of Orongo and the worship center of Tangata Manu or “Bird man”. The visit to the Ahu Vaihu, Akahanga and Tongariki permits understand the history of these people and marvel at the world’s unique moais. The Rano Raraku volcano, considered the factory of the moai, has 400 statues showing different elaboration stages.
Day 1 - Easter Island
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2 - Easter Island
Breakfast. Morning departure on an excursion to visit the Ahu Tahai, Sebastian Englert’s Museum, Ahu Akivi and Puna Pau hill. Afternoon tour to Ahu
Vinapu, Rano Kao volcano, and the town of Orongo. Overnight.
Day 3 - Easter Island
Breakfast. Departure for a full day excursion, including box lunch, to the Ahu Vaihu, Ahu Akahanga, Rano Raraku volcano, Ahu Tongariki, Ahu Te Pito Kura, Anakena Beach, Ahu Nau Nau and Ahu Ature Huki. Overnight.
Day 4 - Easter Island
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
