The excursion departs toward the south of Santiago to visit the
Concha y Toro winery. Founded in 1883, it is the country’s largest wine exporter. A complete guided tour begins in the vineyards some of which were planted by the founder himself a Spanish nobleman (and noted winemaker) Don Melchor de Concha y Toro. During the visit, every stage of the complicated wine making process its observed. Wine tasting is included. Afterwards. The excursion continues to the Maipo Canyon admiring the Andes in all its splendor. Return to Santiago.
